Fully Online Mentor-Led Live Classes Ages 8–18 Structure + Freedom Full Curriculum — Except Math Faith-Friendly

You Want Real Structure — Without Being Chained to the Kitchen Table.

You didn’t choose homeschooling to be stuck at home 180 days a year. But you also don’t want to wing it. You want your kids to get a real education, on a real schedule — while your family still gets to actually live.

That’s the exact tension GCE was built to solve. You don’t have to pick between structure and freedom. You get both.

Before GCE School only happens at home. Miss a week for travel and everyone falls behind.
With GCE Classes are live and online. School comes with you — beach week, road trip, or a normal Tuesday.
Before GCE It feels like you can have rigid structure or freedom — never both.
With GCE A clear weekly plan your kids can follow anywhere. Structure that travels with you.
Before GCE You’re the teacher, the planner, and the grader. All of it. Alone.
With GCE Mentors teach the hard stuff live. You stay in charge of your family — not the whole curriculum.

Structure That Goes Where You Go.

No daily lesson planning. No hauling a curriculum box across three states. Just a clear plan and a real mentor — wherever there’s wifi.

It’s a complete classical curriculum — literature, history, writing, science, grammar, logic, and rhetoric (everything except math) — so you’re not stitching subjects together on your own.

1

Choose Your Child’s Stage

Grammar (ages 8–11), Dialectic (12–13), or Rhetoric (14–18) — each stage follows how your child’s mind naturally develops.

2

Follow a Clear Weekly Plan

Every week is laid out from day one — defined assignments, pacing, and a full 30–32 week structure. Do it from the kitchen table or the campground. It travels with you.

3

Your Child Meets Their Mentor Live

Live weekly online classes with a trained mentor and a small group. Real discussion, real accountability — from anywhere you happen to be that week.

For a Family That Actually Moves.

Travel days, appointments, busy seasons, life on the road — none of it means falling behind anymore. School keeps going, and you stay in control of what your kids do and when.

★★★★★
“Of all the high school curriculum and co-ops we’ve tried, this one is the best. It lays everything out for both the students and parents so well. The workload isn’t overwhelming and the mentors are TOP NOTCH.”

Why We Built GCE.

Bonnye McCoy, Lead Classical Educator at GCE

Bonnye McCoy & the GCE Team

Founder · Lead Classical Educator

Master’s in Education · 20+ years teaching · nearly a decade in classical instruction

We kept seeing the same thing — families doing everything right and still feeling like something was missing. Kids who needed more depth. Moms carrying the entire load alone. And no program flexible enough for the way families actually live.

So we built what we couldn’t find: a structured, Trivium-based classical education, delivered by mentors who know your child by name — flexible enough to go wherever your family goes. Real academics and real freedom, together. That’s the whole reason GCE exists.

What Moms Ask Us Most.

Can my kids really do this while we travel or live on the road?

Yes — that’s the whole idea. Every class is live and online, so all your child needs is a reliable internet connection. Families join from all over, including while traveling and RVing. If you know you’ll be somewhere without wifi, your mentor can help you plan around it ahead of time.

Do we lose structure by being flexible?

No. Every week is mapped out from day one — assignments, pacing, and a full 30–32 week plan. The structure stays the same whether you’re at home or on the road. You get the flexibility of location without giving up the schedule that keeps kids on track.

Are classes at set times? What if we’re in a different time zone?

Classes meet live at scheduled times each week — your child simply logs in from wherever you are. There’s no commute and no campus, but there is a set class time, so you’ll want reliable wifi during class. If you’re crossing time zones or something comes up, your mentor will work with you to keep your child on track.

What subjects does my child study — and is math included?

GCE is a complete classical curriculum: literature, history, writing, science, grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Math is the one subject we don’t include, so you’ll pair GCE with the math program of your choice — many families love the freedom to pick their own. Everything else is planned and taught for you.

How many hours per week does this take?

Grammar students (ages 8–11) meet live for 2 hours twice a week, plus 1–2 hours of independent work on other days. Dialectic and Rhetoric students (12–18) meet for 4 hours once a week, plus independent work at home. Structured without being overwhelming — and no daily lesson planning for you.

We’ve never done classical education before. Can we still join?

Absolutely. Many GCE families start with no classical background at all. You can jump in at any stage, and our mentors walk with both you and your child through the process. You don’t need to know the method — that’s what they’re there for.

Is GCE faith-based?

GCE is a Christian-founded program. Faith isn’t forced into every lesson, but our values shape how we teach and what we believe education is ultimately for. If faith is part of your family’s life, it’s part of ours too.

What does $1,200/year actually cover?

Live weekly mentor instruction, a complete 30–32 week agenda, and a structured academic plan — one price, one complete year. No add-ons, no co-op fees, no campus. Books are purchased separately, and we give you a clear reading list so you know exactly what to buy.
