GET CLASSICALLY EDUCATED
Online Classical Homeschool Programs by Stage
Choose the level of support that fits your family — curriculum-only or mentor-supported hybrid instruction.
Two Learning Options
Families may choose our curriculum-only classical homeschool curriculum or participate in our mentor-supported online program.

Curriculum-Only
Follow the complete 30–32 week classical homeschool curriculum independently at home, with clearly outlined weekly expectations.

Live Online Program
Participate in weekly live discussions led by mentors, where students engage with peers while following the same structured classical curriculum.
How the Live Online Program Works at Each Stage
Live mentor-led discussions are structured differently at each stage, reflecting the developmental progression of the Trivium.

Grammar Stage
(Ages 8–11)
In the Grammar stage, students meet twice weekly in shorter, focused discussions designed to build attention, foundational understanding, and strong academic habits. Mentors guide students through key concepts while encouraging thoughtful participation alongside peers.

Dialectic Stage
(Ages 12–13)
In the Dialectic stage, live weekly sessions emphasize analysis and structured discussion. Students learn to question, compare ideas, and articulate reasoning as mentors guide deeper engagement with the curriculum and peer conversation becomes increasingly central.

Rhetoric Stage
(Ages 14–18)
In the Rhetoric stage, students engage in extended, discussion-based weekly sessions that strengthen persuasive writing, critical thinking, and articulate expression. Mentors facilitate thoughtful dialogue while students take ownership of their ideas in conversation with peers.
How Classical Stages Relate to Grade Levels
Classical education is organized by developmental stage rather than strict grade level. While many families use traditional grade numbers for reference, the Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric stages reflect how students naturally grow in their ability to learn, reason, and communicate.
| Classical Stage | Typical Age Range | Approximate Grade Equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Grammar | 8–11 | 3rd–6th Grade |
| Dialectic | 12–13 | 7th–8th Grade |
| Rhetoric | 14–18 | 9th–12th Grade |
Placement is based on age , readiness and developmental maturity rather than grade alone.
