What is the Classic Learning Test (CLT)?

Classic Learning Test’s suite of exams assess language arts and mathematics with content
designed to engage students’ imaginations and problem-solving skills. These standardized
exams equip educators with in-depth analytics to better understand how to meet students’
needs and maximize their potential.
CLT offers eight exams:
● CLT: college entrance exam for 11th-12th graders
● CLT10: college prep exam for 9th-10th graders offering scholarships and recognition
● CLT3–8: end-of-year diagnostic exams for 3rd-8th graders

What accommodations are available for students with disabilities?
For the CLT3-8, students can use accommodations that match the recommendations of a
diagnostician and are what the student typically receives in their educational environment.
There is no need for prior approval by CLT.
Students taking the CLT10 and CLT will need to apply for accommodations with CLT. Individuals
must complete the request at least 4 weeks before the test date
